Education-Training Committee
This committee will arrange workshops, educational programs, and will disseminate information and research efforts.

Legislative-Advocacy
This committee will keep the membership informed of proposed legislation, rules, and guidelines impacting community and economic development. It will also maintain liaisons with state or national groups, such as CEDAM or NAHRO, to impact pending legislation. The committee will recommend courses of action to be taken by the Association.

Membership-Communications Committee
This committee will promote activities that will increase membership and increase membership communication opportunities.

MHRSN
The Michigan Housing Rehabilitation Specialist Network (MHRSN) was started to provide information and training, share program practices and ideas, develop statewide standards and establish a professional basis for housing and rehabilitation specialists. MHRSN is an information source on affordable housing, rehabilitation, community services, health and safety through educational programs, technical assistance and training and networking opportunities and support.

MSCA
The Michigan Small Communities Association (MSCA) is dedicated to advancing the quality of life in Michigan's small communities. Through the exchange of ideas and information, MSCA serves as an advocate for housing and community development needs. Its mission includes promoting sound public policy decisions at the state and local level on issues that impact community development and housing programs.

Nominating-Bylaws Committee
The committee will make nominations for officers of the association. The committee will also be responsible for reviewing and making appropriate revisions to the bylaws.

Web Site Committee
This committee will promote communication among members through the expansion of the MCDDA Web site.
